Session 8: The Hidden City (part II)

21st day of Breeze,In Sun Descending, Year of the Priest's Defiance
After the hacking of the great tentackled beast, the Guardians of Hope moved further into the ruined city, avoiding all encounters with Fell Taints. Arriving at the library, they found thousands of books, but sadly all were so old that the mere touch destroyed them. In the last room, they encountered a ghost, claiming to guard a treasure. In order to get the treasure, the Guardians had to engage the ghost in a fight of knowledge. Despite the odds, they won, although the ghost disappeared into Dante. The treasure turned out to be 3 books written in an unknown language.

Moving on, they headed to the palace-looking building, which turned out to be full of undeads, but otherwise nothing interesting.

Moving on, and still avoiding Fell Taint wanderers, they entered the last unexplored area, the small houses furthest away. There they ran into a taint much bigger than the rest, and the fight was extremely close. Everyone was down at some point and both Dante, Tik-Tak and Aram came extremely to dieing.

After finding some coins and 3 potions in the houses, the Guardians decided to rest there, since they were worn out.


22nd day of Breeze,In Sun Descending, Year of the Priest's Defiance
After a good night's rest, the Guardians of Hope headed back up into Tyr. After realising that Amanda was gone (last seen with templars) and meeting Toramund (who is looking for his son, Torasun), They then spent a couple of days looking for info on their newfound books (Argul now has a copy of a page and is seeking more info), Torasun (he is part of the Toothcutters and has a friend called Jeeves) and of course Amanda (the templar she was last seen with is a mercenary working for a powerful merchant.
